12 Days from Casablanca to Desert Merzouga

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Pick up from the airport or hotel where you are staying. We visit the famous Hassan 2 Mesquita and leave for Rabat, Imperial City and Administrative Capital of the Kingdom. End of the first day. Hotel / Riad Accommodation

Day 2: Rabat – Asilah

Day 3: Asilah – Tanger – Chefchaouen

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Visit The Famous Village

Day 5: Chefchaouen – Fez

After breakfast we continue our journey to Fez, the first of the imperial cities, its origin dates back to the eighteenth century. It Is Also One Of The First Holy Cities Of Muslim Worship In Morocco .. We Arrive In The Afternoon Accommodation At The Riad / Hotel.

Day 6: Fez – Visit In The Medina

We will start the day to freely explore the Medina of Fez which is the third-largest city in Morocco after Casa Blanca and Rabat. It is known for the capital of Islam and is one of the four cities called imperial next to Marrakech, Meknes, and Rabat.

It is divided into three areas, Fes El Bali, the old area, within the walls, Fes El Jdid, the new area where El Mellah is located, the Jewish quarter (the new area) you can visit its Medina which is a World Heritage Site Since 1981, Museum of the Batha Palace, Madrasa de Bouaanania, Nejjarin Museum, the Merinid Tombs, the Mellah and the Souks and where they make leather. Day 7: Fez –Ifrane – Azrou Forest – Merzouga

At 8 in the morning of the first day, one of our guides will come looking for you at your hotel/riad where you are staying after a good breakfast.

Once we pick you up, we will start the three-day route through the Merzouga desert, we will enjoy the spectacular landscapes where we will make stops to be able to take pictures of these beautiful and magical places.

We pass Ifrane (Moroccan Switzerland) We will also visit the Monkey Forest in Azrou, and we cross the Ziz Valley with its panoramic views and the Aoufous Oasis We pass Erfoud which is the city best known for its fossils and we will turn to The Dunes Of Erg Chebbi (Merzouga) Where We Will Stay At The Hotel / Riad.

We will take the opportunity to walk around the dunes closest to our hotel / Riad and it is there, it is where we go to see the sunset and enjoy an unforgettable night in the middle of the desert.

Day 8: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Khamlia

After breakfast, we will take a tour of the dunes of Merzouga passing through nomadic lands and have tea with a Berber family.

Also, we will pass through the Khamlia village (town of the blacks) where we will listen to the traditional Gnawa music and visit the Mifis mines, the desert plateaus and we will see the Tissardmine oasis.

At noon, we will return to the hotel/riad to rest a little until the time to start our adventure.

After the break, we will go riding on the dromedaries and enjoy a 1h and 30m ride.

We will take the opportunity to see the sunset and enjoy an unforgettable night in the middle of the desert and we will arrive at the Berber camp where we have a welcome Moroccan tea.

Then we will have dinner and listen to traditional Berber music with drums and we will enjoy a magical night under the stars. There, It Is Where We Are Going To Spend The Night In The Typical Authentic Berber Nomads Haimas (Tents).

Day 9: Merzouga – Gorges Of Todra – Gorges Of Dades

We are already on the last day of the trip and in the morning, we will get up very early to go up to the great dune to enjoy watching the sunrise of this very special place and after seeing it we will return back with our dromedaries to Merzouga.

We will arrive at the hotel, take a shower and take a rich Moroccan breakfast and continue our journey to the Dades gorges, passing by Rissani, which is the first imperial city with its interesting market where the inhabitants of neighboring towns buy and where they sell their livestock.

We will continue the trip passing through the famous Todra Gorges and the Dades Valley where we will finish our second day of the route and spend the night in a spectacular hotel/riad.

Day 10: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

We are already on the last day of the trip in the morning, we will wake up taking a good breakfast to gather strength and we will go to see the beautiful views of the Dades Valley to take pictures. We will continue our way to Marrakech crossing the magnificent three valleys that are full of magic and charm called, the Valley of the Roses, the palm grove of Skoura, we pass through Ouarzazate we visit one of the towns that we are going to visit is Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou called the Puerta Del Desierto Where Many International Films Known As The Lawrence D’arabia (1962), Kundun (1997) Mummy (1999), Gladiator (2000), Sahara (2005), Babel (2006) Among Others. Where we will visit the Kasbahs and when we finish making the visit, and we will continue towards the High Atlas where we will cross the port of Tichka of 2260 meters of altitude, being the highest mountain in North Africa.

Day 11: Visit The Medina Of Marrakech
